TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs ARSENAL (1230 ko)
Not a bad one to get the weekend’s action underway. Spurs’ title aspirations have taken one hell of a beating in recent games and they now lead Arsenal by just four points. Confidence may be fragile at XXWhite HaXX Wembley and Arsenal, of whom less is expected this season than their hosts, will fully recognise the opportunity that today offers. BOURNEMOUTH vs MANCHESTER CITY
Fresh from a narrow win against resilient opposition, City can expect the same today against their plucky hosts. But the Cherries have fallen down the table as the season’s long grind takes its annual toll. Class, form and position are hard to argue against. Away win.

BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION vs HUDDERSFIELD TOWN
Probably not the game chosen to start MOTD today, but a massive fixture for Brighton. They have also slipped down the table and are just two points above the drop zone. For Jan Siewart, the challenge is how to motivate a group of players that must be resigned to relegation. He managed it on Tuesday against Wolves. Take note, Mr Hughton. Home win.

BURNLEY vs CRYSTAL PALACE
Having spent much of the season dancing with the bottom three, Burnley are now five points clear of the drop and look strong. Goal difference is all that separates the two sides and the points on offer here are plated in gold. Home win.

MANCHESTER UNITED vs SOUTHAMPTON
The Saints will have half an eye, perhaps more, on the outcome at Molineux as they do battle in the theatre of dreams, or nightmares. The OGS magical mystery tour continues apace and the right combination of results today could see them emerge as realistic contenders for third spot. Few would have imagined that just three short months ago. But surely there comes a point when even Man U become complacent. Saints fans will hope it’s today. Home win.

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS vs CARDIFF CITY
Wolves have picked up just two points from their last three league outings, but still lead the mid-table mini-league. Cardiff have conceded eight goals in their last two home games and remain in the bottom three. This could be a trial for any neutrals in attendance. Home win.

WEST HAM UNITED vs NEWCASTLE UNITED (1720 ko)
Much credit goes to Rafa Benitez for the way he’s dragged his Newcastle side to the lofty heights of 13th position. Which is all we’ll say about them. The ceremony to mark the opening of the Billy Bonds Stand starts at 5.10pm and will include a chat with Alvin Martin. With luck, the Bonds playing ethos will go on to inspire the Irons on the field. Arnautovic has recovered from illness and could feature with Chicharito up front. Manuel Lanzini’s welcome return in midweek may continue with another start on the bench, while Samir Nasri is fit and ready to start. The prospect of Lanzini, Nasri, Arnie and Hernandez playing in the same team is little short of lip smacking. This could be a memorable evening, for all the right reasons. Home win.

Have watched about 20 mins
Definitely more effort and energy from Fulham but they can’t defend and Chelsea could have 3 or 4 goals.
They have been unlucky that Mawson from Swansea hasn’t played at all this season but they are very ordinary back there.
We dodged a bullet with Mawson for sure. Think he cost the same as Diop and Balbuena added together. FMOB
